Scarlett London invited me to the first #GoGlam Gala hosted by Go Send and it was perfect.

It was a cold winter day when I was out with my younger sister buying endless NYX lipsticks when I received an email from the amazing Scarlett London - don't  forget to check out her blog by the way - that filled me with immediate excitement for an amazing start to the New Year. I had received a VIP invitation to the first GoGlam Gala hosted by the American company Go Send.

Go Send Who?

For those of you that haven't heard of Go Send yet, it's a company located in America that enables customers to shop at American online stores without huge delivery and tax fees. It's super simple, effective and the most amazing service ever invented for any shopaholic. So what you do is to simply sign up to Go Send, pay a small one-off fee and when ordering from the American Retailer you enter their warehouse address, they receive the item and then ship it to you hassle free.

The GoGlam Gala
After careful consideration, I decided to take my blogger friend Hannah with me who I knew would appreciate attending such an exciting event as much as I do. We planned our outfits for weeks, even booked a hotel room and bonded over earrings and what shoes to wear.
The GoGlam Gala took place at the Queens Elisabeth II Conference Centre and what a venue that was! Pictures certainly did not do it justice, it was every blogger's dream and I will definitely need to hire that company for my future wedding. Despite the decoration, we certainly had enough entertainment to keep us occupied from photo booths to candy kitten sweets - FYI my favourites.

Events like this always get me so excited, being able to meet so many amazing people who are all in the blogging world is always a fascinating experience that I cannot be more thankful of. But enough of the night now and onto my amazing dress, read below why I decided to pick a vibrant red coloured dress.

Embracing the pale skin in a red dress
Last summer I published a post about loving your pale skin and saying no to fake tanning products - read it here. I, therefore, decided to do exactly that for the event and picked a stunning, red dress that looked amazing on my fair skin. I styled it with silver earrings, heels and a matching bag for a look that I couldn't be more happy about. You know when you wear an outfit that you feel so comfortable and amazing in and you just cannot help yourself but smile all the time? Yeah, that was basically me on the day and oh, it kinda matches the same feelings when being in love. Guess I do really have a serious love for clothes, but who didn't know that already anyway. Shop the whole outfit below via my ShopStyleCollective page.
