Body Confidence with Jack Wills || Scars, Stretch Marks, Cellulite - We all have them.

In today's social media driven world it can be hard to not compare ourselves to others. Feel insecure, uncomfortable and anything but confident. We all look the same underneath, we all have cellulite, stretch marks or scars. The only difference is that some decide to hide it, others ignore it and only a few embrace it. There is nothing wrong with a few butt dimples - we all have them, so why hide or retouch them?

All the supermodels in magazines are retouched, Photoshop can do wonders if you know how to use it. Don't compare yourself to something that doesn't exist in this world, like a body without any marks or cellulite.

Having any of them doesn't make you unfit, unhealthy or unattractive. Our bodies are made this way. It's time to say bye to a stigma that lets woman believe cellulite is something bad. There is no cure. But why would we need one anyway?

10 Body-Positive Instagram Accounts to Follow Right Now

We all have down days, we are only human. Body confidence is all about accepting yourself; on the up and down days. Today I'm having a crappy day, my stomach is bloated like crazy and my face is still swollen. I just feel like curling up on the sofa and feeling sorry for myself, whilst hiding from people. Own yourself, your body and be that person who lights up a room when walking in. Accept yourself. Change the outlook on your body and remember to love yourself.

But in case you are having a down day, check out these babes who are totally rocking body-positivity with their posts and words.

Since my surgery a year ago I haven't worn a Bikini. To be more specific, I haven't worn anything that could perhaps show it. But I'm done hiding it, it's a part of me now. Just like my butt dimples are. We only have one life, don't waste it by hating on your body.

  1. What a fantastic post! It can be so hard to be positive about your own body but what's the point in spending your life hating yourself? Women in all shapes and sizes are incredible and we need to start believing that!

  2. Fab post! Glad to see some plus size bloggers in your list :) If I can also recommend Nerd About Town and magazine She Might Be, great for articles on self love and learning to be body confident

  3. This is a great post. I keep my blogging pictures as real as possible. Though I'm a graphic designer by profession, I don't retouch them. I only crop to the size I need and automatically adjust the colour settings and I leave everything as it is.
It helps me keep on track with how my body changes and I prefer people to know the real me.
